We experience stress in our professional and personal lives. Sometimes positive but most often negative stress. However, if you’re constantly stressed for over a couple of weeks or months, then it’s best to look closer to it and change it through simple yet effective techniques. Stress has a long-term impact on our health and well-being and excessive stress can cause severe health complications and diseases.
In order to change the self-created negative stress, you first need to become aware that and at what moments you’re getting irritated, angry, start to have headaches, stomach problems and sleep problems. The moment you are aware of these changes within your mind and body, you can look for situations or reasons that you experience as negative and thus are causing stress. For instance, determine whether situations at your work, with family, health, money or relationship issues are understood negatively and lead you in a stressed feeling. This will aid you in finding appropriate ways to deal with stress.
